On 24.12.2025, Sri Lankan Ambassador to Egypt, Sisira Senavirathne, met with Eng. Lubna Shatla, Managing Director of Business Development and Strategy & Marketing at Arab Contractors—one of the leading construction companies in the Middle East and Africa.
The discussion explored potential avenues for business and investment cooperation across several sectors, including maritime, boatbuilding and construction in Sri Lanka.
The Ambassador also invited the Managing Director to take part in major trade and investment events in Sri Lanka, such as Sri Lanka Expo 2026, Boat and Marine Show 2026, and visit the Port City in Colombo.
