Sri Lankan Embassy Participates in the Gastronomic Fair in Cairo
Sri Lankan Embassy in Cairo was delighted to take part, together with more than nineteen other Embassies, in the Gastronomic Fair 2025 organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Angola at the Sofitel Cairo Downtown Nile Hotel, as part of the celebrations of the 50th Anniversary of Angola’s Independence Day.
Sri Lanka showcased its authentic culinary delights along with the world-famous Ceylon Tea, offering visitors a true experience of Sri Lankan hospitality. The Sri Lankan stall attracted many guests from various countries, who enjoyed the island’s unique flavors and aromatic tea.
The Embassy of Sri Lanka extends its sincere appreciation to His Excellency the Ambassador and the Embassy of the Republic of Angola for hosting this wonderful event that celebrates cultural and gastronomic diversity, fosters friendship, and strengthens diplomatic relations among nations.
